Congratulations MRS. SUNITA MALHOTRA from USA for being selected as a finalist of Mrs India International Queen 2024! Let’s know more about her. We interviewed Mrs. Sunita and here are her amazing answers:

Profession: Home maker/Co-owner of family business REIM Corp which owns, manages Real estate investments

Qualification: Master’s degree in Operational Research (Business Mathematics) from Delhi University

Location:  Massachusetts, USA

Strengths: Positive Attitude, Hardworking, I don’t give up easily, Confident, Very Determined

Weakness: Trust everyone easily, very clean and organized which sometimes make an issue when working with others

Likes: Dancing, Cooking, Socializing, enjoy eating sweets and good food, helping others in need

Dislikes: Dishonest people, people who disrespect, and arrogant people

Tell us about your family.

I am blessed with a wonderful family. I have a great, and extremely loving husband who is a pillar of my strength. I have three grown-up boys (ages 39, 33 and 30) who are very caring and always motivate and encourage me to live the life of my dreams and two adorable daughters-in-laws who are more than my daughters, very supportive, loving. We are a very knit family who take care of each other and always stick together.

Achievements/ Anything you are proud of yourself:

At age of 35, I started learning classical dance with very young kids ages 5-7 years old. After learning for 5 years, I had my Arangatram at age 40 when I performed with the live musicians and orchestra for more than 2 hours in front of 350 plus audience. That was my first achievement. I didn’t stop there, my second achievement when I got selected for North America Dance India Dance Super Mom competition and won 2^nd runner up which was a unique experience to perform in Maha Laxmi studio in Mumbai in 2014. I also won Super Mom competition in NE Gurjar Assoc, I won Mrs. Classic Elite title and the viewer’s choice in Mrs. category in a beauty pageant in New England in 2023, I also won people’s choice award in Mrs. category in a beauty pageant in USA in 2023.

I am also proud of spreading our Indian heritage and culture here in Massachusetts USA by teaching and performing various types of Indian dances in multiple organizations.

What is Women Empowerment according to you?

Women should have power to control their own lives both within and outside their home; and their ability to influence the direction of social developments in every field, make their own choices in life, but also being respectful to the other genders.

Message for the society:

We only get one life to live, so let’s make sure we love, respect and treat everybody equally. Let’s together make this world a better place to live.

How will you give back to society after becoming a Queen?

After becoming a Queen, I will encourage and motivate all women to follow their dreams, passion and show the world that we can do anything no matter whatever the age is. Mrs India International Queen is an amazing platform where we can get the chance to prove ourselves, just like dance is my passion and through dance, I get involve, and perform in various associations (Ekal Vidyalaya, IAGB, UIANE, IAMV and ISW) to raise funds for needy people, I teach whoever shows interest to learn various style of Indian dances. I will provide guidance and help others to achieve their goals at any age. Through cultural interaction we can promote love, friendship and peace in the world.

Why have you participated in Mrs India International Queen?

I feel fortunate that I got the opportunity to participate in Mrs India International Queen.  It is very important to let everyone know that age has no bar. If you follow your passion, success follows you. It is important to live life to the fullest, dream big and stay positive in mind and spirit, if you believe in yourself, you can do anything in the world, if there is a will, there is definitely a way and that’s the reason I am participating in this pageant.
